Internal parts awareness is the understanding and recognition of the different “parts” or aspects of oneself—such as thoughts, emotions, and behaviors—that may have distinct roles, needs, and perspectives within the internal system. Internal Parts Awareness is the beginning of self-forgiveness, self-acceptance, and self-actualization.
